What a fun & casual eatery/diner to go to for Colombian food! Friendly service, though I found that it helps if you know a bit of Spanish. Food was delicious with an exception. I did enjoy the mofongos, churrasco but the chicharrĂ³n was hard, impossible to bite into. Would still go back to try other things!

Outstanding place for all things Latin food. Nice modern interior. Great waitstaff. Nice mix of all Latin American food.

The food was excellent and the service outstanding. The menu is extensive and interesting. We hadn't tried Colombian food before and thought it would be spicy. My husband's dish read a 5 on a scale of 10 which was a bit spicier than he expected, but was very good. The bakery was exceptional with a wonderful display of items. The Puertican emphanades were terrific. Absolutely a 5 star experience.

Food: food was delicious! I got the Greek omelette and tried some of the other platters. The pan de queso was delicious, paired perfectly with my cappuccino. The passion fruit cheesecake does not taste like it's made in house, probably outsourced somewhere- I would skip out on it and try another pastry instead. Wish the chicharron was more crispy. Overall pretty good Service: we came here on a Saturday afternoon around 12 pm and it was surprisingly not too busy. Lots of empty tables around us. food took a while to come out (over 30 minutes) but it was fine bc we had some bites of bread and coffee to hold us over. Ambiance: good casual lunch spot if you want some Colombian food. Had some subtle music which was nice to listen to.

Great stop on the way to Atlantic City! There's free parking across the street, and even though they close at 8pm, when we walked in at 7:30 and offered to get our paella (which was pretty yummy) to go- they insisted we stayed and we even say two couples walk get seated at 8pm.

Beautifully decorated in a casual updated atmosphere. Lots of bakery choices. We've always enjoyed our meals here. Bandeja Paisa is our go-to dish. They reorganized the menu since the last time we were here and put the Mexican dishes in a section. So in addition to Colombian they also have Mexican. We had Flautas today. Both were very good. No room for dessert!

Mambo Cafe emerged as our spontaneous favorite for pickup, revealing a hidden treasure trove--their dazzling bakery. The empanada symphony, starring chicken and cheese, chicken, beef, and the dynamic duo of beef and cheese, delivered a culinary crescendo that left us convinced they're the reigning champs in Atlantic County! We ordered la bandeja paisa, and it was more than enough food to split the order which was a match made in foodie heaven, each bite an ode to delectable delight. Kudos to Mambo Cafe for making our takeout date feel like a five-star dining experience. However, DoorDash , while convenient, left us with a tinge of sorrow--no access to Mambo Cafes amazing baked goods via delivery . Mambo Cafe isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary utopia with a dazzling ensemble of hot dishes, sweet treats , freshly baked breads, and desserts that could make the angels weep. The staff's professionalism and charm were the cherry on top of our delightful experience. Consider this a public service announcement: Mambo Cafe has secured a permanent spot in our hearts and taste buds. It's not just a place; it's a lifestyle, a haven for all-day indulgence and gastronomic excellence that I can't wait to brag about to anyone with elevated taste buds and a penchant for foodie joy

Definitely authentic Colombian food. My mother-in-law is Colombian and loves this place. They don't accept reservations so keep that in mind. Some nights they have a DJ which is really fun. BYOB!

I haven't experienced dining on the premises, but the takeout is always amazing. We ordered empanadas for a work function and they were delicious. I am also a fan of the mambo tropical salad.
